An intelligent but skeptical man frequently had conversations with a preacher, but always stumbled at the fact of the Resurrection. At length they were separated. The preacher did not see the skeptic for years. Meanwhile, the skeptic became a believer in Christ. The first time the preacher saw his friend, he asked, “And what do you think now of the Resurrection?”
“Oh,” said he, “two words from Paul conquered me — they are: ‘Thou fool’ (I Corinthians 15:36). It was no argument, no satisfying my objections, but God convincing me that I was a fool!”
