Empty-hearted
First, it echoes the rhetorical classic,
Second, it’s a prequel to being brokenhearted.
May our hearts cling on to this truthful statement made by the psalmist…
Stars In The Night
And God made two great lights–the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night–and the stars. And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:16-18 (ESV)
We know that in the darkest of nights, we have the moon and the stars to serve as our sources of light.
The same thing is true in life. Indeed it is difficult to see where you are going when all you see is darkness, yet God is the moon of our lives. In the hardest of trials, God will guide us. Though there may be times wherein the moon does not appear at night, it is still there. God may seem absent, but believe that He is still there for us no matter what. He also made stars to help shed even more light in the night.
Let us all be like stars that will help give off more light for people to continue walking in this dark generation.
