Beautiful Pain
It’s way different when we actually get a slap of truth about our realizations…
the ugly truth about how ugly one can be in all aspects and angles.
No wonder why one gets abandoned.
No wonder why pain gets to dwell.
…No wonder.
Yet through this agony, one gets to cry out to the only One who truly listens.
No wonder why it’s a beautiful pain.
…No wonder.“Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer.
From the end of the earth I call to you,
when my heart is faint.”
(Psalm 61:1,2)“May your unfailing love be my comfort,
according to your promise to your servant.”
(Psalm 119:76)
Live!
Still, it’s what GOD had in mind all along, to crush him with pain.
The plan was that he give himself as an offering for sin
so that he’d see life come from it—life, life, and more life.
And GOD’s plan will deeply prosper through him.
Isaiah 53:10 The Message
No matter who you are, no matter where you come from, no matter what you’ve done,
GOD bled his heart out for you because He loves you.
And He wants you to live.
Grace Moves!
God’s grace fuels acceptance that paves the way for moving on.
Once we begin to move on, we’ll be surprised to know how far we can go from the point where we thought it was the end.“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.”
So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.” —2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLT)
Eyes On Him
As for me, I would seek God, and to God would I commit my cause… he sets on high those who are lowly, and those who mourn are lifted to safety.
— Job 5:8, 11 (ESV)
Sometimes, we tend to get caught up with all the disappointments in this life. But then if we just turn our eyes on Him, we will find that the things of earth will go strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace.— Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus (Hymn)
Stepping Stones
I do not ask to walk smooth paths,
Nor bear an easy load.
I pray for strength and fortitude,
To climb the rock-strewn road.
Give me such courage I can scale
The hardest peaks alone.
And transform every stumbling block,
Into a Stepping Stone.— Gail Brook Burket
“He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.”
— Isaiah 40:29 (NLT)
